About Cauble Creek Vineyard
Rooted in family, land, and legacy, Cauble Creek Vineyard proudly holds the distinction of being North Carolina’s 100th winery. Family-owned and estate-grown, our vineyard is nestled in the Piedmont region of North Carolina, where generations of the Cauble family have farmed and stewarded the land with care.
Our 36-acre estate sits at the heart of adjoining agricultural parcels—past and present Cauble family farmland—creating a landscape shaped by history, hard work, and respect for the soil. The region’s natural red clay soils and consistent ambient weather have long supported some of the finest fruits and vegetables in North Carolina, making it an ideal place to grow exceptional grapes.
Estate-Grown & North Carolina Proud
Cauble Creek Vineyard specializes in the cultivation of native Muscadine grape varieties, celebrating a grape deeply tied to Southern heritage and perfectly suited to our climate. Established in 2006, the vineyard continues to expand each year, guided by a commitment to quality and sustainability.
Our wines are crafted primarily from estate-grown Muscadine grapes, alongside select North Carolina–grown Vinifera varieties, including:
Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Malbec, Petite Verdot, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris, and Viognier.
Naturally Sustainable
Beneath our fields, natural underground springs flow throughout the property, feeding a pristine 2.5-acre pond and surrounding creeks. This pure, clear water is central to our farming philosophy—supporting environmentally responsible agriculture and allowing us to work in harmony with the land.
At Cauble Creek Vineyard, every bottle reflects our belief that great wine begins with healthy soil, clean water, and a deep respect for the land we call home.
