About Tom Cagle:

Growing up in the mountains of Western North Carolina, where, as a young boy Tom could always be found exploring the mountains, hunting, fishing and camping as a Boy Scout, instilled in him a love of nature and the peace and solitude of the great outdoors.

Nature photography has long been a passion of Tom’s. To him, it is not so much about the final photograph or print (although that is important); it is the journey that got him to that place where he clicked the shutter. No camera has ever been made that can capture the feeling of being at that special place to marvel at the sunrise or sunset, or to witness wildlife in their natural habitat.

He  is also fortunate in that his wife and best friend, Linda, shares his passion for photography. Now that they are retired and able to travel, you may find them traveling across this great country in their little Casita travel trailer, always chasing the light.
